9.)  Who does your character trust?

Jean: The one he trusts most is his best friend Alester P. Daniels since they managed to escape from the hospital more than a decade ago. Of course he trusts him nowadays a whole lot more than back then, without question, even though he knows that it might not be the same the other way around.

Dimi: Aside from his lover, he doesn’t have complete confidence in anybody, not even in his relatives nor close friends. But since his lover is gone and slowly forgotten, he might consider Rahvian, his best friend, as someone to trust.

Rami: He is bound to his master and has an undying faith in him which should not be questioned. Ever.

8.) Day of Favorites! What’s your character’s favorite ice cream flavor? Color? Song? Flower?

Jean: He likes orange or coffee flavours, green, and he doesn’t know anything about flowers. Maybe sunflowers appeal to him because they look kind of happy. He has no favourite song either but listens to jazz music in general.

Dimi: His favourite flavours are sweet, either chocolate or any kind of berries. His favourite colours are black and red and he likes roses. No certain song as well though but he loves the sound of guitars.

Rami: Lemon ice cream would be his favourite flavour, white his favourite colour and he’s quite fond of white flowers. He also loves to listen to his master playing the violin.

7.) Is there one event or happening your character would like to erase from their past? Why?

Jean: Even though he doesn’t even think about it anymore, his dreams remind him of his mother’s disappearance once in a while. He would like to forget about it completely or wish that it never happened but on the other hand, he would have never met his best friend if his mother didn’t vanish, despite all the nightmares.

Dimi: Yes, he’d like to erase the part of his life where he met his first lover. Because he is still waiting and suffering but he stopped hoping some time ago.

Rami: There are surely a couple of unfortunate events in his life but he prefers to keep those memories which shaped him. What does not kill him, makes him stronger.

6.) Describe your character’s happiest memory.

Jean: He used to be very happy when he was quite young and lived with his parents who loved him dearly. One of the happiest moments he can remember is when they all sat around the table during a rather cold day. He was playing with the wooden guns and toys his father made for him while his father carved some more toys. His mother was peeling oranges to feed him.
He can’t remember his mother’s face anymore though.

Dimi: He has never felt so happy before when he realized that he fell in love for a second time and his love was answered. He did enjoy this feeling as long as possible but it didn’t last very long, in fact, it caused more grief in the end.

Rami: A wave of happiness overwhelmed him, when his master Layil freed him from the clutches of his hateful biological father who controlled him almost his whole life, preventing him to feel anything but pain and sadness. So until this point, there aren’t any happy memories worth mentioning at all but it’ll get better in future.

5.) What’s your character’s ranking on the Kinsey Scale? 

Jean: 6 - Exclusively homosexual. His best friend’s gynophobia didn’t help him to be less afraid of women although he is already less afraid of them than his friend.

Dimi: 3 - Bisexual. He can’t really decide yet.

Rami: 5 - Predominantly homosexual, only incidentally heterosexual. His first girlfriend was also his last one. Indeed.

4.) How vain is your character? Do they find themselves attractive?

Jean: Not really, he just wants to look decent for work. He wouldn’t say that he’s attractive either.

Dimi: Although he likes to wear elegant, yet simple clothes, he could care less for his appearance since he doesn’t bother to even look in the mirror, or rather avoids to do so.

Rami: A bit but he cares more about his hair. Since his reflexion reminds him of his biological father, he prefers to focus on other people, for example, his master is quite attractive…

3.) Name one scar your character has, and tell us where it came from. If they don’t have any, is there a reason?

Jean: He has scars on his arms stemming from syringes. The nurses weren’t very nice to him after all.

Dimi: His arms and hands are full of scars which he prefers to hide. He used to hit and break things quite often with his bare hands when he was younger, out of anger and frustration. But that’s only one of the reasons for the many scars.

Rami: There is a big scar on his back, caused by a poisonous tendril. He is on bad terms with Rahvian, Dimitri’s best friend, since then.

2.) What are your characters most prominent physical features?

Jean: His dark blue hair is a quite unusual sight in his world which he luckily can hide under a cap and dust in his steamy home city. Another noticeable feature is his dark and probably permanent eye bags. Maybe his belly as well.

Dimi: He’s short, has pointy ears, blue hair and red eyes which are more or less remarkable, more among humans, less among his own kind.

Rami: White hair, intensive eye colour (ice blue) and he likes to smile. Very often.

1.) Describe your character’s relationship with their mother or their father, or both. Was it good? Bad? Were they spoiled rotten, ignored? Do they still get along now, or no?

Jean: He used to love his parents when he was a small kid back then but since his mother’s disappearance, things have changed quite much. Even though his father still took care of him, his constant drunkenness drove them more or less apart. Nevertheless Jean could never hate his father, although he felt betrayed when he did nothing to prevent him being taken to the mental institution. After years of separation, he still loves his father.
He does not talk about his mother.

Dimi: Since he grew up in an orphanage, he didn’t know anything about his parents until he met his father almost two decades later. As the latter didn’t really care about him or his offspring in general, they never got along. In fact, Dimitri still hates his father for producing more children who will never grow up with their biological father, if any father at all. He holds a small grudge against his mother for abandoning him as well. However, he secretly wants to know who and how she was.

Rami: Abandoned right after his birth, he was adopted and raised by a lovely and caring family. They also spoiled him to a certain extent which is why he still is very fond of them, even after their tragic deaths while he was young. His relationship with his biological father though is not only cold and remains cold but after several incidents he hates him in a way you don’t want to be hated. He also assumes that his real mother is dead which doesn’t matter anyway.
